The Chicago Bears and Hard Knocks: Giving Fans a Closer Look at Rising Star Quarterback Caleb Williams

Hard Knocks will showcase the Bears’ training camp

The Chicago Bears have been chosen as the team for this year’s Hard Knocks, which will air on Tuesday nights on HBO starting on August 6. This selection was based on criteria that the teams should not have first-year head coaches, not have made the playoffs in the past two years and not be featured on Hard Knocks in the last decade.

Three potential teams were considered for the show – the Bears, Broncos and Saints. Ultimately, it was decided to go with the Bears, likely due to the presence of quarterback Caleb Williams, who was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Both the Bears and NFL are excited about Williams’ potential to become a star player in the league over time and Hard Knocks will give fans an early glimpse into his journey.

In addition to Hard Knocks featuring the Bears during their season, there will also be an offseason edition focusing on the Giants airing in July. Additionally, an in-season version of Hard Knocks will highlight all four teams from one division. Fans can look forward to getting an inside look at these teams throughout their respective seasons.
