However, his numbers took a significant hit in 2023 when he sustained an injury that affected his performance at the plate.
One factor that may have contributed to Anderson’s decline in 2023 was an early-season knee injury he sustained while spraining his MCL in April. This injury affected his body mechanics, particularly his front leg, and impacted his performance at the plate for the rest of the season. Despite this setback, there is still hope that Anderson could make a comeback if he can address these issues and improve upon them moving forward.
