Wisconsin locks in official visit with cornerback Jayden Shipps for 2025

Jayden Shipps, a cornerback target for Wisconsin’s class of 2025, is set to take an official visit to the Badgers during the weekend of June 14. The program extended an offer to Shipps, a three-star recruit, on January 17.

Currently attending Archbishop Spalding High School in Maryland, Shipps is considered the No. 1002 player in his class, the No. 86 cornerback, and the No. 26 recruit in his home state. Having received 19 Division 1 offers so far, Shipps has narrowed down his choices to a final seven schools including Wisconsin, Tennessee, South Carolina, Indiana, NC State, Virginia and Maryland. He has also scheduled official visits with Maryland, NC State and Virginia. Despite his impressive offers it is projected that Shipps will choose to play for Maryland based on 247sports’ crystal ball predictions.

Wisconsin’s class of 2025 is currently ranked No. 19 in the nation and has 11 committed players including three-star cornerback Jaimier Scott from Cincinnati Ohio. Shipps’ visit will be an opportunity for him to see what Wisconsin has to offer as he considers his college options
