The NFL Connection: How Michigan Alumni are Dominating the Football World

Roman Wilson, a former Michigan wide receiver, predicted that Jim Harbaugh would select multiple Wolverines in the NFL Draft. With the recent selection of linebacker Junior Colson by the Chargers in the third round with the 69th overall pick, Harbaugh’s prediction is beginning to come true. Colson had an impressive career at Michigan, playing in 43 games over three seasons and contributing to a defense that helped the team make three consecutive playoff appearances. He played a key role in Michigan’s national title win last season, recording 95 tackles and two tackles for loss.

As of now, four Michigan players have been drafted in the NFL. Additionally, 18 members of the Michigan team, including Wilson, participated in the Scouting Combine. This indicates that there could be more Wolverines drafted before the draft concludes on Saturday. It seems that Harbaugh’s connection to his former players is paying off as they are finding success at the professional level. The Wolverines continue to make their mark in the NFL, showcasing the talent and skill developed during their time at Michigan.

The Chargers drafting Colson was a great move for both teams as he has proven himself to be a valuable asset on and off-the-field. His impressive performance during his time at Michigan was not just limited to his athleticism but also included his leadership skills and work ethic.

It is clear that Harbaugh’s connection with his former players is paying dividends for both parties. The success of these players in the NFL highlights how important it is for coaches to maintain relationships with their alumni even after they leave school.

Overall, this year’s NFL Draft has already seen four Michigan players selected and more are expected to follow suit before it ends on Saturday. The Wolverines continue to be a force in college football and now their impact extends beyond campus as well.
