Titans Punter Ryan Stonehouse Remains Determined to Return to Elite Form Despite Serious Setbacks

Ryan Stonehouse of the Titans provides updates on his injury recovery

Tennessee Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse suffered a series of injuries during the 2023 season, which led to an early end of his campaign. Despite his setbacks, Stonehouse recently shared some positive news during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio with Alex Marvaez and Zig Fracassi.

Stonehouse mentioned that he is recovering well from the left knee injury he sustained in December. He received encouraging news about his recovery, pointing towards a positive outlook for his return. When asked about his availability for the season opener, Stonehouse expressed that his goal is to be ready for that game. However, due to the gruesome leg injury he suffered in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts, Stonehouse was diagnosed with a torn ACL, MCL, and a broken bone in his left leg. With only nine months of recovery time before the start of the season, it may be unrealistic to expect Stonehouse to be game-ready for Week 1. In such a scenario, Ty Zentner is the likely candidate on the Titans roster to fill in for Stonehouse. While Zentner may not have the same kicking power as Stonehouse, he proved to be a capable replacement for Tennessee last season.

Despite facing serious setbacks during his career, Ryan Stonehouse remains determined to make a comeback and continue performing at an elite level for the Tennessee Titans.
