Tragic Losses: One Woman and Child Killed, Four Injured in Israeli Military Operation in Tulkarm

In the northern West Bank, a woman and a child were tragically killed by Israeli army bullets during a military operation in Tulkarm. Four citizens were also injured in the incident. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the fatalities, but the Israeli military did not immediately respond to the reports.

Eyewitnesses spotted Israeli military vehicles and a bulldozer heading towards the Nour Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarm. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that they were assisting three injuries resulting from the incursion into the Nour Shams camp, including severe beatings and shrapnel wounds. An elderly woman and another woman were among those injured.

In addition to this, the Islamic Jihad movement mourned the death of a fighter from the Tulkarm Battalion who was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood of the Nour Shams camp. The Ministry of Health confirmed one fatality and five injuries, with two individuals in critical condition, due to Israeli shelling.

The violence in the West Bank has been on the rise for over a year, escalating further during the conflict between Israel and Hamas. At least 556 Palestinians have lost their lives in the West Bank at the hands of Israeli forces or settlers since
