Un drafted, but undeniable: Frank Crum joins Denver Broncos’ formidable offensive line

The Denver Broncos recently added University of Wyoming left tackle Frank Crum to their 90-man roster as a college free agent following the 2024 NFL draft. Crum, standing at 6-7 and weighing 315 pounds, is a native of Laramie, Wyoming and played for the Cowboys from 2018 to 2023.

Crum’s experience and large presence on the field made him one of the most experienced college football veterans on the Broncos’ current roster. During his time with the Cowboys, he played an integral role in helping two running backs achieve over 1,000 rushing yards in a season: Xazavian Valladay in 2019 and 2021, and Titus Swen in 2022. In addition, Wyoming’s rushing offense was ranked No. 17 in the nation in 2020.

While being one of the top undrafted free agents available this past spring, Crum faces tough competition to secure a spot on the Denver offensive line as it has become a habit for the Broncos to invest in veteran offensive linemen in recent years. However, if Crum performs well during training camp and preseason games, he may be able to earn a backup role on the Denver offensive line.
