In its latest list of the best U.S. cities to live in for 2024, U.S. News and World Report took into account several factors that matter most to residents, including health care, education, state economies, infrastructure, opportunities offered, fiscal stability, crime and corrections, and the natural environment.
Delaware ranked highly in fiscal stability and health care but lower in infrastructure, crime and corrections, education, and natural environment. Despite this ranking Delaware outperformed neighboring states Pennsylvania and Maryland but was below New Jersey.
