Recently, United Way of Marquette County hosted a Business After Hours event at the Ore Dock Brewing Company in Marquette, Michigan. This networking event brought professionals together to connect with others in the business community and make valuable business contacts. Attendees were encouraged to bring multiple business cards to exchange with potential connections.
Andrew Rickauer, the Executive Director of United Way of Marquette County, shared that the event was a celebration of the organization’s campaign and a partnership with their Media Consortium. The partnership helped to bring the community together by involving media partners and local nonprofits that they work with, support, and fundraise for. The event aimed to showcase the impact that United Way has on the community and foster a sense of unity among attendees to collectively contribute to the betterment of the community.
