Unleash Your Inner Detective: Kansas City’s Science City’s New “Eye Spy” Exhibit Has Immersive Fun for All Ages!

New $750K Eye Spy exhibit unveiled at Science City

Kansas City’s Science City has recently unveiled its new exhibit, Eye Spy. The interactive exhibit features 2,000 square feet of immersive activities for kids and families to enjoy. Replacing the Mister E Hotel, the exhibit includes custom hand-painted and spray-painted murals with hidden illusions, as well as 15 illusive photo ops and hands-on activities.

One of the highlights of the exhibit is the “Travelvator,” a never-before-seen video technology that takes visitors on a virtual tour around the outside of the station. The rooms in the exhibit are based on five categories: color, nature, art, technology, and perspective, offering a variety of experiences for visitors to enjoy.

In the perspective room, visitors can explore how illusions can shift perspectives of the world around them with the help of vision and how our brains understand and contextualize our surroundings. Admission to the exhibit is $16.50, with free entry for kids 12 months and under and Union Station members. For more information, visit unionstation.org. Copyright 2024 Nexstar Media, Inc.
