Unranked Edge Prospect Isaiah Gibson to Visit Tennessee on June 14th – Will He Flip from USC to Vols?

Edge prospect Isaiah Gibson, who has been ranked as a five-star recruit since his freshman year at Warner Robins High School in Georgia, has announced that he will visit Tennessee on June 14th. He had originally scheduled a visit to Florida, but decided to cancel it and reschedule his trip to the Vols.

Gibson is currently committed to USC, but he still has visits scheduled with several other top programs, including Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn, Ohio State and Oklahoma. The Vols have already secured 10 commitments for their 2025 class, including quarterback George MacIntyre and tight end Jack Van Dorseiaer.

Gibson is considered one of the top edge prospects in the country and is ranked as the No. 17 overall recruit by 247Sports. He also holds the title of the sixth-best player in Georgia and is widely regarded as a potential star at the college level.

During his official visit to Tennessee, head coach Josh Heupel and his staff will work hard to convince Gibson to flip his commitment and join their team. It remains to be seen if they will be successful in their efforts, but one thing is certain – Gibson’s decision will have a significant impact on Tennessee’s recruiting class for the upcoming season.
