Unrivaled Sports Acquires Diamond Nation: A Leading Youth Sports Facility in Flemington, N.J.

In recent news, Unrivaled Sports has acquired Diamond Nation, a renowned baseball and softball facility located in Flemington, N.J. This addition to their portfolio of youth sports properties has solidified their position as a leading player in the world of youth sports. Diamond Nation is well-known for hosting over 3,000 teams and 45,000 participants annually at tournaments across seven fields and an indoor training facility.

The acquisition was made by private equity investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer, who have been actively acquiring youth sports assets in recent years. The Cust family, who founded the facility in 2009 and whose namesake had a 10-year Major League career, will remain involved in the operation of the facility, ensuring continuity in the management of the business.

Unrivaled Sports was launched with an investment from The Chernin Group (TCG) and the hiring of former Nike COO Andy Campion to lead the company. With this acquisition, Unrivaled Sports now owns and operates 14 facilities nationwide, with plans to host over 600,000 athletes and 1.3 million attendees each year. This marks another significant milestone in the company’s growth and expansion within the youth sports market.

The addition of Diamond Nation is expected to bring tremendous benefits to players and families associated with the facility as new ownership seeks to enhance the youth sports landscape on a national level. Baseball has been a key focus for Unrivaled Sports, with major investments in various baseball-related ventures. The company’s commitment to excellence in youth sports has earned them recognition as one of the premier providers of youth sports facilities in the country.

In conclusion, Unrivaled Sports’ acquisition of Diamond Nation is a significant step forward for both companies involved. With continued growth and expansion within the youth sports industry, it’s clear that Unrivaled Sports remains committed to providing top-notch facilities and opportunities for young athletes across the country.
