In a bizarre turn of events, the Henrico Police are currently investigating a car theft that took place almost two weeks ago outside a business in the 2100 block of Dickens Road. The incident was reported on March 22 at 10 a.m., when a complainant called to report that his 2018 Silver Infiniti Q50 had been stolen.
The complainant had parked the vehicle outside the business the previous night at around 9 p.m. Surveillance video from the business captured an unknown individual approaching the vehicle, breaking the rear passenger-side window, and entering the car. During this time, a blue Dodge Challenger also entered the parking lot.
After nearly 10 minutes, the suspect in the Infiniti drove away from the business, with the driver of the Dodge following closely behind. Henrico Police are seeking any information about the suspect or the Dodge Challenger involved in the theft. If you have any information, you are urged to contact Detective M. Valentine at (804) 501-5248 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
