Unveiling the Future: A Look at the Exciting Titles Revealed at PlayStation’s State of Play for 2024

New PlayStation State of Play features include Concord, Silent Hill 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds

During the latest State of Play, several upcoming titles for 2024 were revealed. Among them is Concord, a new space shooter developed by Firewalk. Set in the Concord galaxy, players will take on the role of mercenary gunmen known as ‘Freegunners’ in high-risk assignments against competitive crews. The game is set to launch on PS5 and PC in August 2024.

Another highly anticipated title is the remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team, which will be released on October 8, 2024, on PS5 and Steam. Capcom also presented new images and gameplay for Monster Hunter Wilds, which is set to launch in 2025 and showcases new characters and monsters.

Other notable announcements include a new Astro Bot adventure, the remake of Until Dawn, and a new installment of Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Skydance Games introduced Skydance’s Behemoth for PS VR2, while a horror title Alien: Rogue Incursion is set to release on PS VR2 in Christmas 2024.

Additionally, Path of Exile 2 was highlighted during the event as well as Marvel Rivals and God of War Ragnarok. God of War Ragnarok will arrive on PC in September 2024 with enhancements for ultrawide monitors. All these titles are expected to release on PS5 and PC platforms in the coming years.
