Unwind with Dolce Darlin’: A Downtown Bakery Estate Sale Experience

Bakery and Caterer in Downtown Augusta Holding Antique Sale Before Closing

Dolce Darlin’, a downtown bakery and caterer, is hosting an estate sale on June 1 and 2 following its closure. The pink house on Telfair Street will feature a variety of equipment, shelving, and home furnishings from the business for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cat Musgrove, owner of Dolce Darlin’, explained that there is too much inventory to post prices and photos for each item, so interested buyers will need to visit the sale in person. Items available include antique and modern pieces such as crystal chandeliers, tables from the late 1850s, and various chairs. Other items at the estate sale include books, mirrors, picture frames, accent furniture, and Christmas trees in various sizes.

Dolce Darlin’ first started as a catering business in 2013 before moving to its current location in 2020 after purchasing the former La Maison on Telfair restaurant. The bakery’s closure was announced in April. After the estate sale, Dolce Darlin’ will fulfill its final private orders and cookie box shipments before shutting its doors for good. The sale will take place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
