USA TODAY Sponsors NASCAR Cup Series Race in New Hampshire, Celebrating Partnership with Track’s 301st Event

New Hampshire race in NASCAR Cup Series renamed as the USA TODAY 301

The USA TODAY 301 NASCAR Cup Series race is set to take place at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, June 23. The event will be the highlight of a weekend of racing at NASCAR’s only stop in New England, featuring the SciAps 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race and the Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Saturday in a doubleheader event.

The USA TODAY 301 race will be broadcast on USA Network and is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET. Last year’s Cup race at New Hampshire was won by Martin Truex Jr., and the track, located in Loudon, New Hampshire, about 82 miles north of Boston, features a 1.058-mile oval.

Nate Scott, Vice President of Sports Revenue Strategy at Gannett and the USA TODAY Network, expressed excitement about the partnership with New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the event. “We are thrilled to partner with New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this premier NASCAR event,” said Scott. “We believe that our partnership will bring additional value to fans and enhance their overall experience.”

USA TODAY also sponsored a NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, earlier in the year. Following the New Hampshire race, the NASCAR Cup Series will head to Nashville for the Ally 400 on June 30, followed by the Chicago street race on July 7, a Cup race at Pocono Raceway, and the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath welcomed USA TODAY’s sponsorship of the event and emphasized their commitment to providing a high-quality experience for fans each year. “We are honored to have USA TODAY as a partner for this exciting event,” said McGrath. “We look forward to working together to provide an unforgettable experience for fans.”
