USC football makes offer to Georgia linebacker Christian Gass

As a four-star linebacker from Covington, Georgia, Christian Gass has received offers from top schools such as USC and Auburn, among others. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, he is ranked No. 264 in the 2025 class and No. 243 overall, as well as No. 28 at his position according to the 247Sports composite rankings. During his junior season, he accumulated an impressive number of tackles and sacks.

USC’s linebacker coach, Matt Entz, is excited about working with talented players like Gass from Georgia. Despite recent decommitments from Georgia-based players, USC remains determined to recruit top defensive talent from the Peach State. The team is making efforts to secure commitments from players like Gass to strengthen their roster. USC is continuing to recruit heavily in Georgia, even as they face challenges competing with other top programs for talented players.

Gass’s recruitment process has also been closely monitored by Kentucky’s coaching staff, who have predicted a 34.3% chance of signing him over USC (22.7%) and Auburn (13.2%). Florida has a lower chance of landing Gass at just 11%. While other schools may be trying to lure him away with enticing offers or high-profile coaching hires, USC remains confident that its strong recruiting efforts will ultimately lead to Gass committing to the Trojans program over others.
