Lisa Henke, a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the industry, has been appointed as the Chief of Technology and Innovation for Maxar Technologies’ intelligence business. She announced her new role on LinkedIn on Thursday, sharing her excitement about joining the company and leading its technology and innovation efforts.
Prior to her current position, Henke served as the USG account executive for Army and Space Force programs at Maxar. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran who joined the company in 2016 as its chief architect for open technologies. In this role, she played a key part in developing and implementing cloud-based solutions that enabled faster data processing and analysis across multiple platforms.
Henke’s extensive experience in systems engineering spans over a decade at various companies such as Vencore, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. At Vencore, she led the development of secure communication systems that enabled remote teams to collaborate seamlessly despite geographical barriers. At Lockheed Martin, she worked on developing advanced machine learning algorithms that could detect anomalies in large datasets with high accuracy. At Northrop Grumman, she oversaw the integration of new sensors into military aircraft that significantly enhanced their situational awareness capabilities.
With her diverse background in technology leadership roles and deep knowledge of cloud transformation and Agile methodologies, Henke is well-equipped to lead Maxar Intelligence’s technology and innovation efforts. The company recently reorganized into two separate businesses following its acquisition by private equity firm Advent International in May 2023. This reorganization was aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing the focus on core competencies across both businesses.
As Henke embarks on this new journey with Maxar Technologies’ intelligence business, she looks forward to leveraging her expertise to drive innovation and growth while delivering value to customers across various industries.
