Vice President Promotions, Generous Donations, and Community Impact: A Look at Recent Accomplishments in Local Businesses

Amanda Peacock has been promoted to vice president of member experience and engagement at Evergreen Credit Union after being hired earlier this year. Jason Romer has been hired as chief experience officer at Uprise Partners, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in IT. He previously worked at Titanium IT where he led managed services, engineering, and operations divisions.

Altrusa International of Portland recently donated $950 to each of six local nonprofit organizations in celebration of its 95th year of service. The recipients included the Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center, I’m Your Neighbor Books, Sisters in Arms, The Locker Project, the Diaper Bank, and Wayside Food Programs. This generous donation will help support the important work these organizations do in the community.

Spark Cycling Studio hosted a successful fundraising event last month, raising over $33,000 to support Mid Coast Hospital’s ALS Clinic through its Plunge for the Funds event. This initiative will help provide much-needed resources and support for individuals and families affected by ALS. It’s heartwarming to see the community come together to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
