Vietnam-EU Partnership: Building Bridges in the Asia-Pacific through Strategic Cooperation and Diplomatic Dialogue

President To Lam welcomed ambassadors and charge d’affaires from the EU and its member countries

During a meeting with Ambassadors and Charge d’Affaires, President To Lam highlighted the importance of the EU and its member countries as partners of Vietnam. He expressed gratitude for the congratulations received and emphasized the effective implementation of cooperation agreements between Vietnam and the EU.

Vietnam stands ready to serve as a bridge between the EU and the region, promoting cooperation through the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership framework. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to resolving disputes in the East Sea peacefully and in accordance with international law.

President To Lam welcomed Ambassadors and Charge d’Affaires of the EU at the Presidential Palace, acknowledging strategic partnerships that Vietnam has established with various EU member countries. He urged continued exchange of delegations at all levels to enhance cooperation and political trust.

EU Ambassador Julien Guerrier praised Vietnam as an important partner for the EU in the Asia-Pacific region, highlighting potential for further cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, green economy, and climate change response. He delivered congratulatory letters expressing confidence in growing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the EU.
