Violent Business Dispute Leaves One Dead on Normandy Boulevard in JAX

Argument in Normandy Boulevard business parking lot turns deadly as man is shot and killed

An argument in a business parking lot on Normandy Boulevard turned violent, resulting in a man being taken to a hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The incident took place around 1:10 a.m., and there were over 100 people present at the time. However, it remains unclear how many individuals were involved in the shooting.

The motive behind the argument is still being investigated, and authorities are unsure if the victim had any prior connection to the shooters. Tragically, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital.

Witnesses quickly stepped in to transport the injured man to the hospital before law enforcement arrived. Nearby businesses were also impacted by the gunfire, according to JSO. Despite security guards being on duty at Charlie’s Liquor and Hookah Lounge, they did not engage in the shooting and were not implicated in the incident, confirmed by police.
