The Golden State Warriors are reportedly in talks to acquire Buddy Hield in a sign-and-trade with the Philadelphia 76ers. If the trade goes through, he will join the Warriors in the Bay Area and be a good fit for the team.
For 13 years, the Warriors have been led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, known as the Splash Brothers. However, Thompson recently left in free agency to join the Dallas Mavericks, leaving a void for 3-point shooting on the team. The Warriors are now looking to fill that gap by acquiring Hield, who is a prolific 3-point shooter and could bring much needed accuracy from beyond the arc to their roster.

With Hield’s addition, they will gain even more shooting volume to replace Thompson while Melton and Anderson contribute defense and playmaking skills respectively.

As they continue to make moves, their focus is on surrounding their core players with valuable role players who can help them contend for another championship.
