According to weather reports, heavy rain is predicted in the early hours of the day, with a 50 per cent chance of rainfall during the scheduled 10:30 AM start time. However, the rain is expected to subside after noon, dropping below 30 per cent.

In case of a washout, India would top Group A standings with seven points while Canada would move into third place ahead of Pakistan. Pakistan would need to win their final group game against Ireland to secure third position in Group A’s standings.
