West End Health Foundation Distributes Grants to Boost Health and Wellness Initiatives in Ishpeming, Negaunee, and NICE Communities

The West End Health Foundation (WEHF) recently distributed grants to schools in Ishpeming, Negaunee, and NICE communities. In Ishpeming, Carrie Meyer, the superintendent of Ishpeming Public Schools, accepted the grant on behalf of the school. In Negaunee, Dan Skewis, the superintendent of Negaunee Public Schools, received the grant. Finally, Bryan DeAugustine, the superintendent of NICE Community Schools, was presented with the grant in the NICE community.

The grants were presented by various members of the WEHF including Tom Edmark, president of WEHF; Karl Lehmann; Paul Bonetti; Kori Bjorne and Kurt Lehmann MD. The foundation aims to support health and wellness initiatives in the West End communities and is dedicated to improving the overall health of residents in these areas. The grants will help support programs and resources that promote health and wellness within these school communities. The WEHF is committed to making a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals in these areas.
