WhatsApp has recently introduced chat filters that are designed to help users organize their chats, locate contacts more easily, and navigate messages more efficiently. The three chat filters available are “All”, “Unread”, and “Groups”.
The “All” view provides users with a comprehensive view of all their messages, while the “Unread” filter helps identify conversations that require attention. This filter displays messages that have been marked as unread or have not been opened yet. On the other hand, the “Groups” filter is a popular feature that organizes all group chats in one place, including subgroups within communities.
Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, emphasized the importance of being able to access messages quickly as more activities are being conducted on WhatsApp. He also mentioned that these filters will streamline the process of finding important messages and enhance the efficiency of navigating through messages. The rollout of these chat filters began on Tuesday and will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
