Wiring Our Future: Camp STEAMology at MODS Takes Science to New Heights

Cultural Shock at Camp STEAMology: Museum of Discovery and Science.

Camp STEAMology: Culture Shock at MODS is the perfect way to keep kids engaged and learning during school break. This camp introduces campers to how scientific discoveries can shape entire cultures and impact our daily lives. Activities include creating electricity and using a microscope to make histological cell slides.

MODS is an award-winning attraction located in South Florida with 150,000 square feet of science exhibits, an outdoor science park, live animals, science shows, learning labs, a cafe, and a store. The museum also boasts the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture that is one of only three in the world.

Camp STEAMology offers a unique STEM experience for kids with interactive exploration and hands-on learning in a fun camp environment. Campers also get to enjoy a weekly IMAX® show to further fuel their curiosity. Registration is required at $60 for members and $70 for non-members. Aftercare is available for $15 per child, and there is a multi-child discount available with the code “10off”.
