Wisconsin Badgers Offer Scholarship to Tight End Jack Janda, Facing Competition from Top College Football Programs

Wisconsin football recruits top-ranked class of 2026 tight end

On Monday, the Wisconsin Badgers offered a scholarship to tight end Jack Janda from the class of 2026. This is the latest addition to a group of talented recruits who have recently received offers from the team, including running back Jaeden Hill, wide receivers Madden Williams, Kennan and Jarod Pula, athlete Jakob Weatherspoon and others.

Janda, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound three-star recruit hails from Catholic Central High School in Michigan and is ranked as the No. 24 tight end, No. 9 recruit in Michigan and the No. 426 overall recruit for his class. With this offer, Wisconsin has now extended 13 offers to tight ends in the class of 2026.

Despite facing stiff competition from other top college football programs such as Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Purdue, Illinois and Kentucky among others; Janda’s decision is predicted by 247Sports to be with Michigan where there are heavy indications that he will commit to the Wolverines. Luke Fickell’s 2025 class is currently ranked No. 6 in the nation by Rivals with 19 players committed so far.
