Max Kilman, the captain of Wolves, has rejected an offer from Newcastle that included a cash-plus-player deal with midfielder Elliot Anderson. The rejection came after West Ham reportedly made a £25m bid on Friday, which was also turned down. Despite interest from former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, Wolves are holding out for offers closer to £40m due to a sell-on clause with Kilman’s previous club, Maidenhead United. Last summer, Napoli also expressed interest in Kilman, but Wolves declined to sell him.
