In 2025, the Specialty Coffee Association’s flagship European trade show, World of Coffee, is heading to Geneva, Switzerland for the first time. This announcement was made today, one month ahead of the 2024 World of Coffee event in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event will take place at the Palexpo convention center from June 26th to 28th.
In addition to the Geneva event, the SCA is hosting two other World of Coffee shows next year in Jakarta and Dubai. The organization is also hosting its annual United States trade show, the Specialty Coffee Expo in Houston.
SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos stated that “Geneva is the perfect host for World of Coffee 2025.” He explained that Switzerland’s relationship with coffee began with the grand European coffee houses of the 17th century and continues today with thriving food and beverage, hospitality and technology industries shaping the entire coffee value chain.
The Geneva show is being supported by returning corporate sponsors, including Austria-based water solutions provider BWT Water+More and espresso equipment brand Barista Attitude, which is part of Italy’s Ryoma Group.
