Wujiang Hosts 396th Climbing World Cup: Celebrating South Korea’s Kim Jain and Poland’s Marcin Dzienski, and Exciting Debuts at IFSC World Cup

The 396th Climbing World Cup is set to take place in Wujiang, China. This event will be the fourth time that Wujiang has hosted a competition and will feature both UIAA and IFSC competitions. A total of 235 climbers, including 128 men and 107 women from 37 countries across four continents, will compete in four medal events: women’s Lead, women’s Speed, men’s Lead, and men’s Speed.

One of the most notable highlights of this event is South Korea’s Kim Jain participating in her 100th Lead competition. This achievement solidifies her place as the fourth most seasoned competitor in the all-time list. Another highlight is Polish speed climber Marcin Dzienski making his 63rd start in a Speed World Cup competition. His experience in this discipline is sure to be a spectacle to watch.
