2024 SkillsUSA State Competition Showcases Remarkable Talent from Pennsylvania Technical Schools, Including MBIT’s Impressive Gold Medal Wins

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology wins SkillsUSA medals

The 2024 SkillsUSA State Competitions in Hershey recently drew students from technical schools across Pennsylvania, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT). During the competition, MBIT’s 41 competitors earned a total of 16 medals, including an impressive 10 gold medals, four silver medals, and two bronze medals.

Some of the gold medal winners included Addisyn Adams, Brianna Grumm, and Brielle Zinn from Central Bucks South; Evgeny Ukraintsev from William Tennent; Allison Morey from Central Bucks South; Robert Miernicki from Central Bucks West; Vuluan Truong from Council Rock North; Charleigh Buckner and Cole Kleindienst from Central Bucks South; and Greg Milano from Archbishop Wood.

The silver medal winners included Brian Daly and William Tantum from Central Bucks South; Barry Cleaver from William Tennent; and Joseph Cronin from Central Bucks East. The bronze medal winners were Luke Ryan from Central Bucks East and Emma Hancock from Central Bucks West.

Eight of the gold medal winners will be moving on to the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, in June. This achievement highlights the incredible talent and dedication of MBIT’s students as well as those at other technical schools across Pennsylvania.
