The CEO of 360 Behavioral Health, based in Chatsworth, California, is stepping down. Rob Marsh has announced that he will transition to a board member role while exploring other opportunities. Marsh took over as CEO in January 2022 and will officially leave his position on April 30. Kate Sheldon-Princi will serve as the interim CEO, currently holding the position of chief operating officer at the company.
In recent years, the industry has seen multiple CEO transitions, including Jason Owen of BlueSprig Pediatrics and Kathleen Stengel of NeurAbilities Healthcare. Owen took a role at Envision Healthcare after leading BlueSprig since 2018 under KKR ownership. Stengel departed NeurAbilities Healthcare, which received an investment from Council Capital in 2018.
360 Behavioral Health was acquired by private equity firm DW Healthcare Partners in 2018, with Dennis Kogod serving as CEO and executive chairman at that time. After Kogod’s tenure, Paul Fischer took over the CEO role until November 2021. Ali Sadeghi and Leili Zarbakhsh founded the company in 2003 under the name California Psychcare before the acquisition.
During his time as CEO, Marsh oversaw a significant layoff process as a response to stagnant payer rates and challenges in recruitment and retention faced by the company. However, the business has since stabilized, with improved rates and hiring trends. The company is now focused on growth, with plans to open two locations in Nebraska in addition to its current 21 autism therapy centers and nine ancillary support services locations in California.
