Mayor of Colorado Springs Announces Small Business Week Proclamation

In the Pikes Peak Region, the tradition of recognizing Small Business Week has been going strong for over 16 years. Mayor Yemi Mobolade will be delivering a proclamation on Wednesday, May 1 recognizing the week of April 29-May 3 as Small Business Week in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. The proclamation will take place at the Catalyst Campus Harvey House before a marketing panel organized by the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center, Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, and the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado.

Small Business Week is a nationally recognized event aimed at celebrating and supporting the contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. This event has become an important platform for small businesses to connect with their communities, share their success stories, and learn from each other.

The ceremony will be streamed live starting at about 11:15 a.m., allowing people from all over to witness this special occasion. It is an opportunity to recognize and honor the hard work and dedication of small business owners in our community. We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating Small Business Week and supporting local businesses in our region.
