A Community Snapshot: Lewis and Clark County Health Survey Launches in June

Help Wanted: Volunteers Needed to Conduct Door-to-Door Public Health Survey Across Multiple Counties

A first-of-its-kind community health survey known as the Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER) will be held in June across five counties. The survey is a collaboration between organizations such as Lewis and Clark Public Health, Pureview Health Center, and St. Peter’s Health.

The purpose of the survey is to provide a snapshot of community health conditions, behaviors, and social determinants. Volunteers will be going door-to-door across Lewis and Clark, Jefferson, Powell, Broadwater, and Meagher counties to collect responses.

Thirty 2-member teams will visit seven households in each census block to gather information from residents. Participation in the survey will give residents a chance to win a $500 Visa gift card. The results from the survey will help identify public health priorities and contribute to the formation of a community health improvement plan.

The deadline to apply as a volunteer for the survey is Monday, June 17th.
