Abu Dhabi’s “Manufacturers” Job Exhibition Launches with Goal to Boost Industrial Sector and Empower Emirati Talents

Manufacturers Exhibition Offers 800 Job Opportunities for 80 Companies

The second session of the “Manufacturers” Job Exhibition was launched in Abu Dhabi, with the presence of Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, and His Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi. Organized by several entities, including the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council “NAFES”, and the ADNOC Group, the exhibition aims to provide job opportunities for Emiratis in the private sector.

The exhibition will run from April 21 to 23 and is expected to offer over 800 job opportunities in various industrial and service companies for Emirati citizens. In addition to providing employment opportunities, it also offers training programs in collaboration with prominent training centers to enhance national competencies and secure quality jobs. Through the “National Content” program, companies can benefit from various incentives while promoting Emiratisation.

The organization of this exhibition aligns with several national strategies such as Project 300 Billion, the “National Content” program, and the “Made in the Emirates” initiative. Its primary goal is to boost the industrial sector by supporting Emirati talents and exploring new opportunities in evolving global economies.

Omar Al Suwaidi emphasized that his ministry’s commitment is to enhancing the growth and competitiveness of the national industrial sector by empowering Emirati cadres with job and training opportunities. This exhibition aims to match job seekers with company requirements while facilitating recruitment processes.

Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei highlighted that employment exhibitions like “Manufacturers,” contribute significantly to providing job opportunities for Emiratis in industrial sectors while promoting localization through collaboration with private sectors, institutions, and training centers.

Yasser Saeed Al Mazrouei from ADNOC reiterated their commitment towards supporting Emiratisation by enhancing national content in private sector contracts through a strategy aimed at providing sustainable job opportunities for Emirati talent while boosting business sustainability and competitive capabilities.

The first session of “Manufacturers” exhibition last year attracted over 3,000 young Emiratis with more than 500 job opportunities provided.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between relevant bodies during last year’s exhibition to support Emirati citizens through quality job opportunities under “National Content” program.

Overall this exhibition is an excellent opportunity for young Emiratis seeking employment or career development within industries such as manufacturing or advanced technology sectors.
