Adventist Health Expands Its Reach on Central Coast with New Hospital Additions

Adventist Health and Tenet Healthcare complete acquisition of multiple Central Coast hospitals on Friday

Adventist Health has expanded its network in the Central Coast region of California by adding two hospitals to its ranks. Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center and Twin Cities Community Hospital are now part of the Adventist Health family, with new names that reflect their locations. These facilities will be known as Adventist Health Sierra Vista and Adventist Health Twin Cities in San Luis Obispo County.

Kerry L. Heinrich, president and CEO of Adventist Health, expressed his excitement about the new additions during a visit to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. He emphasized the importance of expanding the mission to the Central California Coast and providing patients with access to a full continuum of care. Eleze Armstrong, a leader at both facilities, has been appointed interim CEO of the hospitals.

Patients can rest assured that their care will not be impacted by this transition, as all insurance plans will still be accepted and appointments with providers should be kept as scheduled. The addition of these two hospitals brings more options for healthcare services to people in the area.
