Apple Revolutionizes iPad Accessories with New Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard

Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro: the Ultimate Pencil Tool

During its “Let Loose” event on Tuesday, Apple unveiled new accessories for its latest iPads. The $129 Pencil Pro and the new Magic Keyboard starting at $299 are now available for pre-order and will be released next week.

The Pencil Pro is being hailed as a “game changer” for users looking to express their ideas and creativity. It features a new sensor on the barrel that users can squeeze to access a tool palette with line weights and colors for making artwork. Artists using graphic-design software like Procreate can also press the barrel to activate shortcuts for brushes, image size changes, and color introduction.

The Pencil Pro pairs with the Magic Keyboard, which has been redesigned since 2020. The thinner and lighter keyboard comes in black and white colors for both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models. The new features include a function row for control access, aluminum palm rests, and a larger trackpad.

According to Apple, the new Magic Keyboard makes using the iPad Pro feel like a MacBook, enhancing the device’s portability and versatility. Both the Pencil Pro and the Magic Keyboard are now available for pre-order and will start shipping next week.
