Apple’s Next-Generation iPad Pro: Revolutionizing Graphics with OLED Displays and New Gestures

Next-generation iPad Pro to feature new display confirmed in iPadOS 17.5

Apple is set to launch new iPads, with the next generation iPad Pro featuring OLED displays for the first time. The company has been working on these new iPads for quite some time now, with production delayed due to constraints related to the new OLED displays. LG and Samsung are expected to be the main suppliers for these displays, providing 11-inch panels and 12.9-inch panels respectively. In addition, a new Apple Pencil model is also on the way, with developers finding clues in the iPadOS 17.5 beta code suggesting new gestures such as “squeeze,” “LongSqueeze,” and “DoubleSqueeze.” These gestures are likely intended for an unreleased Apple Pencil model with different features compared to the current Apple Pencil 2. Rumors suggest that Apple will introduce a redesigned Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 3 alongside the new iPad Pro and iPad Air in May.
