Bali Hosts the 10th World Water Forum: A Global Gathering of Stakeholders in Water Management and Sustainability

Bali will host the 10th edition of the World Water Forum, a gathering of stakeholders in the water sector held every three years. The event, which will take place from May 18 to 24, 2024, is being jointly organized by the World Water Council and the Republic of Indonesia. The forum is expected to attract 30,000 participants from 172 countries.

In addition to providing a platform for discussions on water management and sustainability, UNEP will also organize several events at the World Water Forum. These events will cover a range of topics related to water management and sustainability, including discussions on urgent calls to save lakes, innovative approaches to basin-scale water quality, smart water management capabilities, prosperity across the water cycle, global health approaches in monitoring, sustainable lake management, transformative change for a Water-Smart Society, global initiatives for water security, and governance for circular water and resource management.
