The 2024 World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest is just around the corner, and the entertainment lineup has been announced. From May 15-18, Liberty Park in Memphis, Tennessee will be the hub of all things barbecue and fun.
The festivities kick off with a fan-favorite event, Barbecue Sauce Wrestling at the Cattlemen’s Main Stage on Wednesday night. Attendees can enjoy live music performances from Marcy Playground on Thursday, Ingram Hill on Friday, and DJ MicTee from K97 on Saturday. The Cattlemen’s Main Stage will be the go-to spot for all of these exciting entertainment offerings.
For those looking to meet some of the biggest names in barbecue cooking, the Home Depot Outdoor Kitchen will offer meet and greets with pitmasters like Moe Cason, Joe Davidson, and Chris Lilly. Guests can also sample delicious barbecue from other experts at this stage. The McCormick Demo Stage will provide culinary tips from Rocky Stubblefield of Stubb’s Bar-B-Q Sauce.
Those interested in learning more about barbecue cooking techniques can take part in the Cooker Caravan with Heath Riles BBQ escorted tours on Thursday and Friday. Guests can also participate in the Kingsford Tour of Champions to sample barbecue from different teams and vote for their favorite.
