Bartlesville Radio Sports Coverage

Bartlesville High School’s baseball team ended their 2024 season with a tough loss in the 6A Regionals, falling 6-1 to Union in an elimination game. Despite their best efforts, the Bruins were unable to match Union’s offensive power and struggled throughout the game.

Bartlesville fought hard, but their only run came in the sixth inning when they had the bases loaded and one out. Despite this, they were unable to capitalize on the opportunity and fell short.

Pitchers Kaden Romesburg and Grant Clark gave Bartlesville a chance to compete, with Romesburg pitching two scoreless innings at the beginning of the game and making a crucial double play with the bases loaded in the third inning. Despite their efforts, Bartlesville was unable to overcome Union’s offensive prowess.

As the season comes to a close, Bartlesville will say goodbye to five seniors but will retain two of their top three starting pitchers and several underclassmen in the lineup. The team finished with a record of 13-22, but can look back on their accomplishments with pride despite the disappointing end to their season.
