Denmark’s second airport evacuated after bomb threat leads to detainment

The second most important airport in Denmark, Billund Airport, has been evacuated after a bomb threat was made against it. The threat was received around 10:30 am and Southeast Jutland Police Inspector Michael Weiss issued a statement urging citizens not to go to the airport.

Authorities are currently conducting a thorough search of the airport with investigators, canine units, and bomb squads, but they have not confirmed the presence of a bomb. The airport has suspended all activities and there is no set time for when operations will resume.

The Danish Police have confirmed the arrest of a man in connection with the bomb threat but have not provided any further details.
