Blizzard’s BlizzCon 2024 Canceled, Celebrates Warcraft’s 30th Anniversary Through Other Events

BlizzCon 2024 Cancelled by Blizzard, But Promises Return in Coming Years

Blizzard has announced the cancellation of its BlizzCon 2024 conference for the gaming community. Although they will not be hosting BlizzCon this year, they plan to celebrate Warcraft’s 30th anniversary through global events and participation in industry conventions like Gamescom.

Blizzard has assured fans that BlizzCon will return in the future. Despite the cancellation of BlizzCon, Blizzard will participate in other industry events and conventions, as well as organize global events to celebrate Warcraft’s 30th anniversary. They are committed to maintaining the spirit of celebration and community in these events, even though they are different from BlizzCon.

In November of last year, BlizzCon was held in person again in California, where users were able to play their favorite titles and learn about new features for games like Diablo IV, Overwatch, and Warcraft Rumble. However, the decision to cancel BlizzCon this year was not made lightly according to Blizzard. They have assured fans that they will share more details about their World of Warcraft and Diablo IV expansions in the coming months.
