Limited seats remaining for Spotlight on Small Business

The first Safford Spotlight on Small Business event is just around the corner, with seats reservations closing soon. Held at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Monday, April 1st, this event is a must-attend for small business owners and operators in the city.

During the event, attendees will have the chance to meet with city officials, including Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella, to discuss ways to support and enhance the success of small businesses in Safford. They will learn about business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new beneficial ownership reporting requirements from the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS.

The event will kick off with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 am, followed by a 90-minute program starting at 7:30 am. There is no cost to attend, but seats must be reserved in advance through the City of Safford Spotlight on Business Breakfast Tickets event page on Eventbrite. This event is sponsored by the City of Safford, Graham County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and Safford Downtown Association.

Mayor Ortega encourages both new and established small business owners to attend as there may be new information to glean from the event.
