Inequality, fueled by poverty and economic factors, as well as sexual and gender-based violence, are significant barriers to improving women’s health in Africa. Global health leaders must recognize that equal access to achieving better health outcomes is crucial. In an upcoming program, two distinguished African global health leaders will discuss how to overcome these obstacles and provide equitable healthcare for women on the continent.

Chan School of Public Health; and Lia Tadesse Gebremedhin, Former Minister of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and Executive Director of the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
