Brooklyn Park Police Respond to Strip Mall Shooting: Three Handguns Discovered, No Injuries Reported

Police in Brooklyn Park React to Gunshots in Business Complex

At approximately 1:14 a.m. on April 14th, Brooklyn Park police were dispatched to a small strip mall in response to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered bullet holes in the front door and window of a business located within the mall.

Several individuals were inside the business when the gunshots were fired, prompting officers to ask them to leave the premises. During a search of the business, authorities found three handguns. Fortunately, no one was injured by the gunfire.

The investigation into the shooting is currently ongoing, and the Brooklyn Park police continue to gather information to determine what led to the gunfire at the strip mall near 85th and Xerxes avenues. No arrests have been made as of yet.
