Spate of burglaries targets business owners

In recent weeks, business owners in Biddulph, Staffordshire have been the targets of a series of burglaries and attempted break-ins. Within just one week, there were six incidents reported in the area. The owner of Biddulph Domestic Services shared that there was an unsuccessful break-in attempt at their premises. Nearby, Premier Hairdressing was also burglarized, leaving staff feeling upset.

Linda, the owner of Premier Hairdressing, expressed her dismay as equipment such as hairdryers and clippers were stolen during the burglary on April 4th. Although some stolen items were returned by clients who found them discarded in bins or on the ground, Linda is still frustrated by the loss of valuable equipment.

At Biddulph Domestic Services, Andrew Barnett noted that a smashed window in the front door prevented the burglars from gaining access to his business. Despite this, he is still concerned about potential increases in insurance premiums following these recent incidents. He mentioned that it’s a challenging time for local businesses in Biddulph as they try to navigate through these unfortunate events.
