Cathay Pacific Premium Economy Cabins Get a Stunning Upgrade: Enhanced In-Flight Entertainment and Sustainable Dining on the Horizon

New business class seats from Cathay Pacific for premium economy passengers

Cathay Pacific’s premium economy cabins have received a significant upgrade in terms of in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems. The new IFE screens now stretch to a stunning 15.6 inches, up from the previous 11 inches, and come equipped with high-definition 4K monitors and Bluetooth pairing capabilities. This enhances the overall IFE experience for passengers, allowing them to watch movies and control their customer experience with ease.

In addition to the larger screens, Cathay Pacific has also introduced a new GUI system across its fleet, starting with the A350 aircraft and new fleet additions. The revamped navigation system offers a more thematic approach, an updated 3D map, and improved cameras for live nose and tail views. Passengers can now enjoy a wider range of content options thanks to Cathay Pacific’s recent partnership with Disney +, HBO Max, and Paramount. These content options include live sports, further enhancing the overall passenger experience on board.

Cathay Pacific is committed to providing its passengers with a comfortable and enjoyable journey from start to finish. Later this year, the airline will unveil new sustainable dining elements in both the premium economy and economy cabins. These enhancements will further elevate the overall passenger experience on board.
