Pinning Ceremony Held for OTC Veterinary Technology Program

On April 18, 2024, the Veterinary Technology Program at Ogeechee Technical College held a pinning ceremony in the auditorium of the Joseph E. Kennedy Building. The event honored the graduates of the program and celebrated their achievements.

Taylor Rhymes-Wiedner, a 2024 graduate, welcomed guests to the ceremony, while Juliana Cadle, President of Ogeechee Tech’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA), led the Challenge to Serve.

During the ceremony, Deidre Tillman, an instructor in the Veterinary Technology program at OTC, commended the graduates for their hard work and dedication. She noted that their achievements demonstrate the potential in the field and highlight the importance of perseverance and dedication in making a difference in animal care.

The class took the Veterinary Technician’s Oath before receiving their pins. Ten graduates were recognized during this special occasion: Avery Beasley, Bonnie Blackburn, Enyia Bostic, Hannah Etheridge, Bryn Green, Faith Jones, Michalla Jones
