Celebrating Public Health: 1st Annual Resource Fair and Career Panel Invites the Community to Learn, Connect, and Thrive

Celebrating Public Health: A Resource Fair

The 1st Annual Public Health Celebration & Resource Fair is inviting everyone to come together and learn about public health – the science and art of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. The event will feature a career panel led by Dr. Ashanti Carter from CDU and special guest Director Alison King from LBHHS, who will share their insights on how public health can help everyone thrive.

The celebration of National Public Health Week, Black Student Success Week, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Awareness Month will bring together people from different backgrounds to support, learn, promote, and protect public health. Attendees can expect to find valuable resources at the resource fair that will help them make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

For those who require Sign language interpreting services or Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services, please contact the event contact person and Stephanie Bonales at least 72 hours prior to the event.
